Data Protection Policy

We inform you that, in compliance with art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (RGPD), as well as Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights, for the adequate provision of the MOT inspection appointment, your personal data will be incorporated into a database for which the entity TÜV Rheinland Ibérica, S.A. is responsible for, with C.I.F. A-78999612 and address in Avenida de Burgos, 114, Madrid.

In case you request an appointment for your vehicle inspection in Navarre, your data will be treated by the entity TÜV Rheinland Navarra, S.A. with address in Soto de Aizoain, s/n, Polígono Industrial Mercairuña, Pamplona (Navarre) and CIF A-31236128. If the appointment has been requested in Catalonia or Balearic Islands, your data will be treated by TÜV Rheinland Certio, S.L.U, with registered office in C/ Pau Vila, 22, 3rd floor, San Cugat del Vallés, Barcelona, with CIF B-65081820. 

On the one hand, we inform you that your data will be treated by applying the appropriate security measures to the treated data, with the purpose of carrying out the administrative, accounting and fiscal management of the service, being guarded by the legal term until the prescription of possible tax responsibilities.
On the other hand, in accordance with the provisions of article 6.1 f) of the RGPD, we inform you of the legitimate interest that the entities responsible for the data have to treat some of the contact details of their clients with the purpose of sending reminders of inspections by electronic means, as well as to send you commercial communications by electronic means (not postal) of products and/or services identical or similar to those provided, in accordance with article 21.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on services of the information society and electronic commerce. If the client does not wish to receive this type of communication, they can notify us by sending an email to dpr@es.tuv.com.

In accordance with article 6.1 c) of the RGPD we inform you that the person responsible for the treatment, in each case, is obliged to communicate to other organisms and/or entities, data of both the owner and the vehicle itself. In particular, this information may be provided to the competent Administration in traffic matters, to the General Directorate of Industry, to ENAC, as well as in general in favor of any other bodies and/or entities to which it may be required by law, such as Security Forces and Bodies or Courts and Tribunals (4.2.2 UNE-EN-ISO 17020).

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, suppression, opposition, limitation of treatment, by attaching a photocopy of your ID and by sending a letter or e-mail to the registered office of the company with which you made the appointment (TÜV Rheinland Ibérica S.A., TÜV Rheinland Navarra, S.A. or TÜV Rheinland Certio, S.L.U.), or by sending an e-mail to the following address: dpr@es.tuv.com for the attention of the DPR.

Finally, we inform you that you can file a complaint with the corresponding Control Authorities, www.agpd.es.
