The network of ITV stations strengthens its commitment to self-consumption systems through photovoltaic energy. This commitment to renewable energy is part of a strategic national project, the main objective of which is to promote the use of clean energy sources, reducing environmental impact while meeting a significant portion of the electricity demand of our facilities.
The ITV stations that already have photovoltaic installations are:
Catalonia (CAT): ITV Berga, ITV Cim Vallès, ITV Montferrer, ITV Sant Cugat, ITV Solsona.
Castile-La Mancha (CLM): ITV Alcolea del Pinar®, ITV Toledo, ITV Almansa®, ITV Hellín®, ITV Manzanares®, ITV Motilla®.
Community of Madrid (CAM): ITV Alcorcón®, ITV Julián Camarillo®, ITV Leganés, ITV Fuenlabrada, ITV Móstoles®, ITV Navalcarnero®, ITV Navas del Rey®, ITV Parla®, ITV Rivas H2O, ITV San Sebastián de los Reyes.
Murcia (MUR): ITV Águilas®, ITV Lorca®, ITV San Pedro del Pinatar®, ITV Caravaca®, ITV Cartagena®.
Navarre (NAV): ITV Arbizu®, ITV Areta Huarte®, ITV Pamplona®.
These stations are already delivering tangible benefits. Thanks to solar energy generation, we are able to drastically reduce the consumption of conventional energy sources, minimize CO₂ emissions, and strengthen our active role in the fight against climate change.
The implementation of this project has been made possible through grants aimed at promoting the use of renewable energy sources in strategic facilities. This support has facilitated the installation of photovoltaic systems at our stations, reinforcing our commitment to decarbonization and sustainability.
This project has received financial support from the European Union under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
